The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center (CBWCHC) will host a Family Health Fair on Saturday, May 2, from 11 am – 3 pm at Dunningham Triangle where 82nd Street, Ithaca Street, and Baxter Avenue meet in Elmhurst, Queens, 11373. The event will feature free health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol, health education, health insurance information, music, and entertainment. This fair aims to promote community wellness and connect residents with important health resources.
“The Health Center is excited to host the Family Health Fair, which creates a great opportunity for families and community members to access various health resources for free,” said Kaushal Challa, Chief Executive Officer of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. “This event will not only offer free health screenings and useful information but also serve as an interactive and entertaining space for everyone to connect and have fun.”
“I’m proud to be working with The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center to host a Family Health Fair. On May 2nd, families and community members in Jackson Heights can come to Dunningham Triangle for free health screenings, health education, insurance information, and music. Health fairs like this one are important ways to support our community’s health and encourage active screenings and care,” said Council Member Shekar Krishnan, District 25.
