The Borough’s Biggest Bash Is Back at the New York Hall of Science with Exquisite Food, Inspiring Beverages, and Top-Notch Networking
Queens Economic Development Corporation and Queens Tourism Council proudly announce that Queens Taste 2024 is set for the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Tuesday, May 21, from 6 pm to 9 pm. In other words, get ready for everything from crunchy to creamy, delectable to delightful, enticing to exquisite, fiery to flaky, pleasing to piquant, and sweet to savory.
More than 50 restaurants, beverage purveyors, and dessert makers are expected to offer samples of cuisine from Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines, and various West Indian countries. A longtime candy maker, a local chocolatier, and some clients of the Entrepreneur Space, a food-and-business incubator that QEDC operates in Long Island City, will be on hand with their artisan specialties, too.
And to wash it all down, several brewers, wine makers, and mixologists will be on tap. (Teetotalers will be able to quench their thirst with tropical fruit juices and bubble tea.)
Queens Taste 2024 is a celebration of the World’s Most Delicious Borough, but it’s also a great place to network. Almost all the anticipated 500 attendees either live in Queens or do business there. (Some do both!) Many are executive level employees and captains of industry. Plus, the atmosphere is always festive, creating an ideal scene for meeting, greeting, and exchanging contact information.
Finally, Queens Taste 2024 supports a good cause. Proceeds go to QEDC’s ongoing efforts to attract, create, and maintain jobs in the borough. Tickets cost $125 each (two for $200), but as QEDC is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, they’re partially tax deductible as permitted by law.

Many people attend the Queens Taste every year.

Queens Taste 2024 will offer a great variety of drinks.
