Spectrum announced it will sponsor 10 local youth sports leagues through its new, threeyouth league-year agreement with TeamSnap, the #1 youth sports management platform with 25 million users.

The leagues include Bedstuy Sluggers RBI in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn; Juventus Academy New York in Midtown Manhattan and Gotham Girls FC in Hudson Square; in Queens: Auburndale Soccer Club in Bayside, Big Apple Youth Soccer League in Astoria, Brooklyn Falcons Baseball in Ozone Park, Elmjack Little League in East Elmhurst, Forest Hills Youth Athletic Association in Forest Hills; Richmondtown Soccer Club in Staten Island; and Parkchester Little League (Parkchester Baseball) in the Bronx.

The partnership between TeamSnap and Spectrum began in the fall of 2023 and now supports 240 leagues annually across more than 30 markets within Spectrum’s 41-state footprint. Leveraging TeamSnap’s unique ability to impact youth sport communities, Spectrum has reached more than 150,000 youth sports households through branded jerseys, field signage and custom communications. Soccer, baseball and softball emerged as key focus areas, underscoring Spectrum’s alignment with some of the most widely played youth sports on the TeamSnap platform, as well as across the United States.

“Teaming up with TeamSnap is truly a home run for Spectrum because so many of the families we serve in the NYC Region and our employees who are their neighbors, have children who play in local sports leagues,” said Mike Williams, Regional Vice President of the NYC Region for Spectrum. “Our support of TeamSnap will provide essential resources, funding and memorable experiences to inspire young athletes in New York City, foster a lifelong love for their sport and create opportunities that extend beyond the field.”

New York City is one of more than 30 markets nationwide where Spectrum and TeamSnap have teamed up to support youth sports. Spectrum will sponsor more than 720 youth sports leagues across the country through 2027 through its collaboration with TeamSnap. Utilizing TeamSnap’s corporate funding in this way helps reduce the cost of participation, provides scholarships for players in need and delivers new equipment to improve the experience for young athletes.

“TeamSnap’s partnership with Spectrum is about more than just sponsorships; it’s about creating opportunities and experiences that resonate with families,” said Nicole McCormack, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Brand Solutions at TeamSnap. “As the only platform that connects brands with youth sports communities at scale, TeamSnap helps Spectrum deliver on its commitment to local communities, one practice, one game, one team at a time.”

Spectrum’s Support Provides Scholarships and Equipment, Reduces Player Costs

Spectrum’s expanded three-year partnership with TeamSnap will provide sponsorships to more than 720 local youth leagues by 2027, with a significant portion of Spectrum’s support going directly back to the leagues and teams. Utilizing TeamSnap’s corporate sponsorships in this way helps reduce the cost of participation, provides scholarships for players in need and delivers new equipment to improve the experience for young athletes.

“Spectrum’s sponsorship of Elmjack Little League helped fund upgrades to our facilities and equipment, enhancing the overall experience for players and fans alike,” said Milo Kaminsky, Board Member of Elmjack Little League in Queens, N.Y. “Their support helped create a more welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone who comes out to enjoy the games.”
