Jackson Heights is home to one of the largest Colombian communities in the United States. On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Senator Jessica Ramos’s 4th annual Festival Calle Colombia will transform 37th Avenue into a vibrant block party of Colombian pride and heritage.

Stretching from 82nd Street to 84th Street, Festival Calle Colombia will feature live music, dazzling folkloric dance performances, and community honorees, highlighting the rich history of Colombians in Queens. Cumbia dancers in traditional dress will mingle with families, neighbors, and visitors, filling Calle Colombia with color, music, and community spirit.

In addition to cultural festivities, Festival Calle Colombia will also serve as a community resource fair, offering information on local services and assistance from the City, State, and community-based organizations.
